Welcome to the Northeast High Class Of 1970 web site. Our 40 year reunion in July 2010 was a smashing success and we are excited about new events that will be planned leading up to our 45th reunion in 2015. Keep watching for news about upcoming events....and until we get together again keep in touch with classmates and friends using this site.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

HELLO EVERYONE,
I am so excited that all of you are signing up on this wonderful website.  We are so very blessed to have this site to catch up on our classmates.
This website design was a collaborative effort between myself and Andy Bevilacqua.  Andy was kind enough to donate the first year cost of the site and two years cost for the domain name to the Class Reunion.  Andy worked very hard on the set-up of this site and the site was launched on June 18th, 2009.
We need your donations to keep the site going, the Anniversary date for this site is June 17th.   At that time the cost for keeping the site going will be $97.00 for the next year.  The domain name is purchased every two years, at a cost of $36.00.  The donations are important.  The website will stay active as long as we have the funds.   Maintaning the website will be our first priority.
I also want to encourage you to download current photos of yourself and your family into your profile,  an share a story with the class about what has been going on in your life from graduation until now.
Any photos you may have or memorabilia you come across please share them with us.  The photos can be scanned and e-mailed to us or you can bring them with you when you come to any of the small gatherings.
This committee is AWESOME!  They worked behind the scenes everyday, researching and up-dating information so we could get the message out to our fellow classmates.  They worked on obtaining prizes, giveaways and displays to create a special flair to be enjoyed at the reunion. Their endless enthusiasum  continues to be contagious and because of their tireless efforts the Reunion was a great success!
The commitee will now be working on all the photos taken at the reunion and we will be posting them here on the site as soon as they are complete......if you have photos you would like to incorporate into the montage please let us know. 

The Hospitality Room was a huge success, I saw many of you enjoying the time together.   It was so much fun to meet and visit there. 

We received many compliments on the Memorabilia Room as well.......what an awesome room that was.  So many memories to view.  Thanks to everyone who brought items to be displayed there.

Some of the Faculty came Friday night to visit with us and enjoy the evening...Mr. Crum really had a great time and won quite a few raffle gifts.  When you visit this site please check out the Faculty list.....several of our Faculty have joined our site.  I know they would love to hear from you.  I have received several letters and photographs from the Faculty and will be sharing them as soon as I can.

This site also has an "IN MEMORY" page with a list of those who have passed since we graduated.  This too includes Faculty members.
We are constantly up-dating these lists and classmates are joining all the time, photos are being added and we will be planning more small gatherings around the area and are also planning to start work on our next reunion,  so keep checking back.
Thank you for sharing your life stories, photos and complements!  We appreciate them very much!

Well, another reunion is in the books.

Thank you very, very, much to the committee and everyone else who had a hand in making it a great success! You all did a fantastic job!

We will be posting pictures of the 40th reunion in the photo gallery soon. Also we hope to put a for sale page up with NEHI T-shirts, coffee cups and Memorabilia/photo DVD's soon. All proceeds go towards the next reunions and keeping the website alive.

To the Class of NEHI 1970 Reunion Committee and All the Classmates:
 
    My brother Bill Criswell called and also  sent me many pictures of your reunion this past weekend.  Kudos to the committee for putting on a first class party!   He says it was  an unforgetable experience!  Looking at your faces bought many  flowing tears thinking about you 40 years ago--roaming the halls of NEHI with so many hopes and dreams!  None of us had any life experience--broken hearts maybe --but, not a clue of the paths our lives would lead us down or to!  Those of you who reconnected or made promises to email, call or get together with each other--make sure you hold to those promises!  Start praying without ceasing for those who are sick-- or faced with difficulties --make that person's day!
    Please think of us--  the NEHI Class of 1971--- as we start to prepare for our reunion next summer. I can only hope that my classmates will look beyond a few wrinkles, extra  pounds, and gray hairs to come together and celebrate!!!
