Since graduating from Northeast I have served in the U.S. Navy, raised a family, become a grandfather, and worked in libraries for 40 years. In the course of my career I worked at the Library for the Blind in Daytona Beach,FL; Sumter Correctional Institution Library in Bushnell,FL; Manatee Community College in Bradenton, FL; the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, GA; and now at Pasco-Hernando Community College in New Port Richey, FL. The opportunity to work with students and faculty in three different colleges has been rewarding. The opportunity to grow with the new information technologies has been exhilarating. I feel very fortunate that I didn't have to wait to retire to pursue the things I love doing. I have been doing them throughout my career.
