I joined the Air Force in February 1973. I ended up in Alaska in September 1975 and have been here ever since. It took 8 long years but I finally fell in love with Alaska. It is breathtakingly beautiful here. I was in the Air National Guard from 76 through 85. There were many wonderful career opportunities. I worked for health and Social Services for about 25 years and part time for the Court system. I am retired and now have two puppies and lots of grandchildren to keep me busy.

Attended school after working in the evenings. Never knew what I wanted to do so instead concentrated on a career.

Ground to Air Communications Repair, I was stationed st Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi for training, them on to Southern California Norton AFB San Bernardino California and Elmendorf AFB Anchorage, Alaska
